Remember when we used to do these!?

So remember a long time ago, when everyone used email as entertainment and people would fill out these long questionnaires...forward them to the world...and ask them to forward it in response?


That's what I'm doing right now.  If you are really dedicated, you'll read this whole thing, but I'm not sure if I would even do that...for myself.  Happy reading, friends.

  1. Who is your hero? Living? As cliche as it sounds, my parents. They have been through so much and have taught me pretty much everything I know. Plus, my mom beat cancer.
  2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? Um, probably on the beach somewhere, far removed enough from the majority of annoying people but not completely isolated from civilization
  3. What is your biggest fear?  My parents dying before their time, especially my mom falling sick and dying prematurely because she has a bad immune system.
  4. What is your favorite family vacation? When we went to Disneyland and the beach together
  5. What would you change about yourself if you could? My metabolism so I could be size 8
  6. What really makes you angry? People being rude to me, especially when I'm trying to be nice.  And Obama.
  7. What motivates you to work hard?  My patriarchal blessing
  8. What is your favorite thing about your career? Seeing as I don't have one yet...
  9. What is your biggest complaint about your job?  I hate customer service. haha.
  10. What is your proudest accomplishment?  I served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Chicago, Illinois
  11. What is your child's proudest accomplishment? I don't even have a boyfriend right now...
  12. What is your favorite book to read?  Besides the scriptures, probably Harry Potter
  13. What makes you laugh the most?  talking with my best friend Emily
  14. What was the last movie you went to? What did you think?  I went to see the sequel to "Divergent," which is "Insurgent."  It was aiight.  It probably would have been better if I had actually seen the first one...
  15. What did you want to be when you were small?  I think there was a time when I actually wanted to be a vet...
  16. What does your child want to be when he/she grows up?  Still haven't even held hands with someone after returning home, dang...!
  17. If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? Be on the beach with my family
  18. What is your favorite game or sport to watch and play? To watch, basketball.  To play, golf
  19. Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? I like going on bike rides, but ultimately I'd choose a car.  That's a really obscure question...
  20. What would you sing at Karaoke night? HECK YES I WOULD!
  21. What two radio stations do you listen to in the car the most? 102.9 and 106.1
  22. Which would you rather do: wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house? When it came down to it, probably the dishes.
  23. If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? Cleaning.
  24. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? homemade macaroni and cheese, bread and chocolate milk.  #fatty
  25. Who is your favorite author? That's too hard to say, but the first two that came to mind are Agatha Christie and Sarah Dessen
26. Have you ever had a nickname? What is it? Growing up my brother called me "Nini," and my best friends called me "Bethy."
   27. Do you like or dislike surprises? Why or why not? Well, let's talk about the kinds of surprises there are...Good ones that I didn't see coming?  Yes, for sure.  Bad ones? No. Knowing about a surprise that I have to wait a long time for? No.
   28. In the evening, would you rather play a game, visit a relative, watch a movie, or read? It depends on which relative I'd be visiting... reading wins out on this one ;)
   29. Would you rather vacation in Hawaii or Alaska, and why? Hawaii, hands down.
   30. Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why? Work at the perfect job...because it's always better to be a hard and steady worker than win the lottery and have all this money you don't know what to do with...Winning the lottery changes you, for the worse I think.
   31. Who would you want to be stranded with on a deserted island?  Bear Grills
   32. If money was no object, what would you do all day?  Play music and give service to people
   33. If you could go back in time, what year would you travel to? 1975, right in the middle of the 70s.  I think that was one of the best eras.
   34. How would your friends describe you? funny and quirky.  Probably more on the quirky side.  And awesome.  I know they'd say awesome too.
   35. What are your hobbies? music, zumba, reading, cooking, golf, writing
   36. What is the best gift you have been given? When I was 16, this guy gave me a really special necklace that he picked out himself.  We weren't super close, but he wanted to make it meaningful, and that has always stayed with me for some reason.
   37. What is the worst gift you have received? In seminary, we had an AWFUL object lesson where two people got of them being a full body wash set and the other being molded rotten oranges.  I got the oranges.
   38. Aside from necessities, what one thing could you not go a day without? chapstick.
   39. List two pet peeves. sitting in seats that were BARELY warmed by someone else (gag) and when I start liking someone and it feels like I don't have control over my emotions anymore...drives me crazy ;)
   40. Where do you see yourself in five years? In 5 years I'd be 28...I guess by that age I always envisioned myself married with a degree, "established" career (meaning I have a career that I could work in and my husband is the breadwinner), and with maybe a couple of children
   41. How many pairs of shoes do you own? um...??
   42. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? the powers to be invisible, go back in time, fly, and teleport.  Basically I want it all.
   43. What would you do if you won the lottery? Obviously pay my tithing first, then pay off my student loans, pay off my parents' bills, buy my family and myself a car, and save the rest
   44. What form of public transportation do you prefer? (air, boat, train, bus, car, etc.) this question again??  car...
   45. What's your favorite zoo animal? Monkeys
   46. If you could go back in time to change one thing, what would it be? I would go back in time to change the relationships I had in high school.  I know, high school is lame, but there's one I have in mind that I would like to change.
   47. If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? Nephi, Jimmy Fallon, Taylor Swift, and Ellen DeGeneres

48. How many pillows do you sleep with? only one, but I sleep with way too many blankets
   49. What's the longest you've gone without sleep (and why)? Only like, 36 hours because of working in catering
50. What's the tallest building you've been to the top in? ??
   51. Would you rather trade intelligence for looks or looks for intelligence? I guess probably intelligence.  Ultimately that wins in life as far as careers and fulfilled relationships go.
 How often do you buy clothes? Probably about once every other month or so
   53. Have you ever had a secret admirer? Always. ;)
   54. What's your favorite holiday? Halloween.  I mean, besides Christmas, but that's everyone's favorite...
   55. What's the most daring thing you've ever done? Chased after We the Kings at 3 in the morning to get a picture with them

   56. What was the last thing you recorded on TV? I don't record shows on TV, but the last recorded show I watched was America's Got Talent with my parents.
   57. What was the last book you read? Ghost Boy by Martin Pistorius
   58. What's your favorite type of foreign food? tacos. I know, super foreign...
   59. Are you a clean or messy person? somewhere in the middle
   60. Who would you want to play you in a movie of your life? Myself.  Duh.
   61. How long does it take you to get ready in the morning? Depends on the timing.  I can get ready really fast if need be...anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour
   62. What kitchen appliance do you use every day? does the fridge count?  I need it for the milk in my cereal...
   63. What's your favorite fast food chain? It's a toss-up between Chickfila and Panda.  I'm always down for either of those.
   64. What's your favorite family recipe? Homemade bread
   65. Do you love or hate rollercoasters? I love the nice ones that don't scare the crap out of me
   66. What's your favorite family tradition? New pajamas on Christmas Eve
   67. What is your favorite childhood memory? playing with my little brother in the backyard, running around in the berries, playing in the sandbox and fort, 
   68. What's your favorite movie? I have 6 top favorite movies of all time: My Big Fat Greek Wedding, 500 Days of Summer, Arthur, Moulin Rouge, Ever After, and Australia.
   69. How old were you when you learned Santa wasn't real? How did you find out? I think I was in second grade...and my friend broke the news to me about the tooth fairy, so I figured out the rest
   70. Is your glass half full or half empty? Depends on the day.  I don't drink very much.
   71. What's the craziest thing you’ve done in the name of love? Broken up with someone because it was what was best for us, even though it was the hardest thing
   72. What three items would you take with you on a deserted island? I've always thought this was a dumb question, because I'm like, do I want to be "practical" and try to survive or be entertained since my chances of survival on a deserted island are slim anyways...
   73. What was your favorite subject in school? English
   74. What's the most unusual thing you've ever eaten? Fruit soup
   75. Do you collect anything?  I try not to.
76. Is there anything you wished would come back into fashion?   Bustier purses
77. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? a healthy mix
78. Which of the five senses would you say is your strongest? hearing
   79. Have you ever had a surprise party? (that was an actual surprise) Yes, my 16th
   80. Are you related or distantly related to anyone famous? According to those random sites that supposedly look up your lineage, but you never know...
   81. What do you do to keep fit? zumba and other cardio, lift
   82. Does your family have a “motto” – spoken or unspoken? "Other things may change us, but we start and end with family"
   83. If you were ruler of your own country what would be the first law you would introduce? I would put a good solid health system in effect.  None of this medicaid business.
   84. Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? My English teachers from junior and senior year.  They taught me how to truly love literature.
   85. What three things do you think of the most each day? My future/dreams, my family, and music
   86. If you had a warning label, what would yours say? Proceed with caution--you must become accustomed to unfiltered sarcastic comments to live in this environment.
   87. What song would you say best sums you up? Not In That Way by Sam Smith 
   88. What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee? TAYLOR SWIFT
   89. Who was your first crush? this kid named Xavier in 7th grade
   90. What's the most interesting thing you can see out of your office or kitchen window? our backyard, which is gorgeous and over looks the community park with lakes
   91. On a scale of 1-10 how funny would you say you are?  20
   92. Where do you see yourself in 10 years? As a mom somewhere, still playing the violin and piano
   93. What was your first job? I worked as a food and beverage server in a water park
   94. If you could join any past or current music group which would you want to join? The Killers
   95. How many languages do you speak? 1.5--English and some Spanish
   96. What is your favorite family holiday tradition? We love just being together on Christmas morning, chillin in our new pajamas and talking
   97. Who is the most intelligent person you know? Bailey from high school
   98. If you had to describe yourself as an animal, which one would it be? a domestic house cat (even though my spirit animal is a fox)
   99. What is one thing you will never do again? love.  Nah I'm just kidding.  I don't know.  I will never serve a mission as a young single adult--I can't, I already did.
 100. Who knows you the best? Either my mom or Emily.
